A year ago today, the Stop Online Piracy Act got a decisive beatdown in the marketplace of public opinion. That’s an achievement worth celebrating as Internet Freedom Day, but there’s a lot more work to do in terms of undoing all of the older, almost-as-bad laws that online-liberty advocates couldn’t stop. Can we get that harder job done?
